Day Services
Enable Group provides a wide variety of day activities for adults with learning difficulties across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
Activities are available on a daily or part-daily basis, and they can include evenings and weekends if requested. We also offer free taster sessions, so people can decide whether an activity will suit them.
Golding House Resource Centre in Matlock offers a great range of educational, social, leisure and recreational activities. They include
- gardening
- arts
- crafts
- bowling
- walking
- swimming
- farming
- other activities that service users request
Golding House also has an outreach project in Bakewell's Medway Community Centre», where similar activities are available.

The Enable Resource Centre in Tibshelf provides specialist day services, including therapeutic activities for adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities.

Enable's JT Project is based in Huthwaite, Notts. It offers our service users opportunities to get involved in practical activities including
- woodworking
- stores and catering services
- distribution and delivery services
- gardening and landscaping
- vehicle maintenance
- recycling
- archiving
Occasions Catering is part of the JT Project. Here, service users provide an excellent buffet service to other Enable centres and to customers in the community.
