Enable Care and Home Support require support workers for various hours to provide support to adults with learning/physical disabilities within their own home and out in the community within the above areas.

Experience of working with adults with learning and/or physical disabilities would be desirable but not essential.

Relating to others with a caring attitude and a commitment to equal opportunities are prerequisites for the post.

The opportunity to gain qualifications, along with other mandatory in - house training is provided.

Successful applicants would be required to be flexible to meet the needs of the service users/tenants, which will include mornings, evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays, sleep – ins or waking night duty.

Full car driving license is essential.

EC0103: Part - Time Welfare Rights Officer Post

EC0004: Finance Officer Post - Part Time (18.5 Hours per week)

The Purpose of the job.

To assist with maintenance of the day to day financial processes of the Group to ensure that such processes are delivered in a timely & accurate manner.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance the post holders principle accountabilities include

  • To assist with maintenance of the sales ledgers of the organisation including raising invoices, posting to accounts system and credit control.
  • To assist with maintenance of the purchase ledgers of the company.
  • To assist with maintenance of Service User and House bank accounts.
  • To assist in the programme of house audits.
  • Other duties as directed by the Senior Finance Officer and Head of Finance.

EC001: Female Activities Organiser - Temporary to cover Maternity Leave.

Enable Care and Home Support are looking to recruit a Female Activities Organiser to be based at the Enable Resource Centre.

The post is for 25 hours over a two week period e.g. wk 1 = 15 hrs and wk 2 = 10 hrs, supporting a female service user on a one to one basis. As part of this role you and the service user will divide days between out in the community and centre based. The service user particularly enjoys cookery, swimming and shopping.

Pre-requisites for this post are the ability to relate to others, caring attitude and a commitment to equal opportunities.

Experience working with adults with learning/physical disabilities would be desirable but not essential.

EC001: Male Activities Organiser - 20 hours per week - in the Walton area.

Enable Care & Home Support are looking to fill a vacancy for an activities organiser to provide one to one support to a gentleman who has a particular interest in Fishing and IT..

We are looking to recruit a MALE Activities Organiser to join our dedicated team of staff who offer a wide variety of activities using local community resources in order to develop the skills of its service users.

The successful candidate will be involved in the development of individual programmes in conjunction with care planning.

The opportunity to gain qualifications, along with other mandatory in house training is provided.

Successful applicants would be required to be flexible to meet the needs of the service users, which will include Mornings, Evenings, Weekends, Bank Holidays and Sleep-ins or Waking Night Duty on a rota basis.

It is an essential requirement for the successful candidate to hold a full car driving license.
