Kim spreads the word
A powerful article on Enable's End of Life Champion Kim Maddison appears in Issue 8 of Care Talk magazine.
The article celebrates Kim's passion and commitment to good end of life care, and what it means in practice for Enable's service users. Above all, it highlights her belief that good end of life care must begin with good quality of life.

Kim's commitment to person-centred end of life care was recognised in 2011 when she received the Frontline Leaders Award at the Great East Midlands Care Awards.
A year earlier, under her leadership, Enable's Meadow View Nursing Home became the first learning disability home in the country to complete the Life Enhancing Care Home Award.
Kim's article is one of several interesting pieces in this issue of Care Talk to deal with person-centred end of life care. There is plenty of food for thought here.
Our thanks to Care Talk magazine for kind permission to use their article and logos.
