Jackie King-Owen receives two prestigious Awards

Jackie King-Owen, Executive Director of The Enable Group, has celebrated a double success, with two prestigious business awards.

Jackie was named Enterprising Business Woman of the Year at the Enterprising Women Excellence Awards 2010, celebrated by the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce.

Jackie also scooped the High Flyer Award at the glittering ceremony at Chatsworth House...

The Awards aim to recognise and reward women in business that has excelled in their field of expertise over the last year.

Jackie said “I am amazed that I have won anything, let alone two awards. For once I was speechless but now I have come back to earth it is a really nice honour especially in the light of it being the 20th Anniversary of The Enable Group this year.

I am proud of Enable Care & Home Support and Enable Housing Association and all that it represents in terms of providing services to, for and with adults with learning difficulties. May it long continue in the years ahead.”
