Enable service users make their views known on the proposed funding charges!

Staff and service users from Enable have delivered 90 copies of the consultation questionnaire on Derbyshire’s proposed funding charges to Councillor Jones at County Hall Matlock last week. Linda Cantrill, Judith Berrisford and Linda Dale accompanied Kevin White, Paul Cooper, Richard Hill and Siobhan Durrant when they met Councillor Jones in the Council Chambers at Matlock.
Councillor Jones listened to the many concerns raised by Service Users and Carers during the recent consultation meetings organised by the Enable Group held at Ellen House, Sheffield Road, Golding House Resource Centre and Golding House Flats.
Councillor Jones thanked them and told them that Derbyshire County Council would be sending a report to the County Cabinet and their views would be taken into account. He said the decisions about changes would be announced at the start of the new Financial Year in April 2011.
