Jo Isherwood
My name is Jo Isherwood and I was delighted to be recently appointed a Team Leader.
I consider myself so lucky to be able to wake up each morning and feel excited about going to work and be part of an organisation that does what it says on the tin! I was a staff nurse working for five years in dementia care before coming to Enable. From day one I have totally loved working here. I have worked with other organisations that talk about person-centred working but Enable actually practises it.
The person-centred approach is not only for service users but also practised for staff, with lots of support and listening. Nowhere have I experienced this in practice in the way I do here at Enable. The energy and spirit this creates is such a marvellous way of working! See the HR video»
